What is self storage?

Self-Storage with Storage Guys is a hassle free and easily accessible way to store your valuable goods.

What does self storage cost?

The cost of self-storage with Storage Guys depends on the unit you select. We have Large Units available for R1275 (incl. VAT) per month, Medium Units  available for R950 (incl. VAT) per month as well as 9 cubic metre containers for R749 (incl. VAT) per month.

Are there any hidden costs?

There are no hidden costs. However, our friendly staff will explain all you need to know before you move in.

When do I pay?

Your first payment is due before your move-in date. Thereafter payment is due before the beginning of each month.

Does Storage Guys accept any cash on site?

For your convenience we do accept cash on site.

Are there any discounts?

No, our prices are very competitive.

Do I have to reserve a unit before I get there?

Yes, complete and submit the contact form.

What are Storage Guys store hours?

Opening Hours

  • Monday – Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm

  • Saturday – Sunday: By appointment only

How high is it inside my storage unit?

The door clearance 2.1 metres.

Are my goods insured?

We do not offer insurance. It is, however cheaper to extend your personal home insurance to cover the goods you are storing.

What notice do I need to give to move out?

1 month notice is required before moving out.

Can I store anything I want?

The restrictions to what is allowed are listed in the contract.

Do you have trolleys?

Yes we do supply trollies.

Are locks provided, if not, do you sell locks?

Locks are not provided, we do sell locks at R85 each.
